To begin with, the internet is considered as cheaper and easier method of conversations which will be valuable for people to keep in touch together. Nowadays almost everyone has internet access in order to search some kind of information or chat with others. Because of positive impacts of the technology development, such as 3G, wi-fi or satellite connection, now Internet available almost everywhere on the Earth. Every day the number of people who has registered on social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram is increaseing. Due to such social sites people can converse with each other . Now distance will not be barrier for conversation among the people. Therefore the Internet will make unbreakable relationship among the people all over the world.
On the other hand, the Internet has some drawbacks which have negative impacts on society. Because of the wide usage of the online communication, some social skills as face-to-face communication is becomes get rarely used among the people. Nowadays, people prefer staying at home and chatting with other in front of computer screen rather than face-to-face conversation the outdoor.
To sum up I want to say that In modern days, unlike the past, families are spread all around the globe. This makes people have less contact with their own family members, who they don't even see very often, and be awkward when they see each other one day. Useing email and chatting software, connecting with family and friends who are far away geographically is cheaper and easier than calling or writing letters.It takes much less time. When we go out of the "family" situation, the Internet also can give both individuals and businesses more opportunities than ever before to extend their networks and reach out to people they may otherwise never meet. So yes I think that the Internet brings people closer .
